Founded in Portugal, Materflora creates and develops floral art with high quality patterns and creativity. Its products illustrate a harmony between a unique selection of materials and manual production resulting in a singularity of collections with realism and character.
With two collections per year, the brand aims to actively contribute towards the world of interior design by offering original pieces in the categories of synthetic plants and trees, floral arrangements, silk flowers and vertical gardens.

Maria Teresa Torres began her journey in floral design with the simple creation of natural arrangements for her family and friends.
In 1979 she decided to venture out on her own into the business world and started her own company which quickly gained a name and reputation in the best national boutiques.
Maria Teresa Torres boldly ventured alone into the business world and audaciously took the first steps in a dream that later became the passion of the whole family and that, up to this day, has continued to grow and innovate.
Without her determination and persistence, the brand as we know it would never have come to life and as such we feel the duty to honour her achievement and resilience.
The Process
The production of floral art is a creative process that requires technique and a unique sense of aesthetics.
Therefore, Materflora begins this process by developing a contemporary design inspired by minimalist architecture and modern art.
With a set of light silks and realistic fabrics, the design is concretized by our specialized professionals who manage to produce unparalleled pieces with handmade techniques.
